Divock Origi goal: Watch Liverpool take lead against Barcelona in Champions League semi-final

The striker gave Liverpool unlikely hope after just seven minutes

Trailing by three goals from the first leg, there were always tempered expectations ahead of Barcelona’s visit to Liverpool.

Yet it only took seven minutes for hope to arise in loud bursts amongst the crowd at Anfield as Divock Origi poked home into an empty net.

A misjudged clearing header from Jordi Alba fell to Sadio Mane who danced through towards goal.

Mane then played in Jordan Henderson who wriggled past two challenges and drove a low shot that could only be parried by Marc-Andre Ter Stergen in the Barcelona goal.

Origi then raced in unchallenged for the easiest of tap-ins to put the tie back at 3-1 on aggregate. Watch the goal below:
