Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to the Liverpool team that were beaten by Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Kolo Toure comes in for Dejan Lovren at centre-back, Jordan Henderson returns from injury and Lucas Leiva starts to add more protection in midfield.

The team is a much more defensive one than what Liverpool played at Selhurst Park, with Rodgers dropping attacking midfielders Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho to the bench.

The Reds are desperate for a win in the group after three consecutive defeats to Basel and Real Madrid, twice, left them with just three points from four matches so far.

Rodgers knows he needs a win here and to get a positive result when Basel visit Anfield in the final game of the group.

LINE-UPS:

Liverpool: Mignolet, Manquillo, Skrtel, Toure, Johnson, Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Gerrard, Sterling, Lambert.

Subs: Jones, Lovren, Coutinho, Moreno, Lallana, Borini, Can.
