Manchester City vs Barcelona as it happened: Ilkay Gundogan cancels out Lionel Messi goal and Arsenal win
How Tuesday night's Champions League action unfolded
Manchester City beat Barcelona at the Etihad Stadium to banish the demons of two weeks after their 4-0 drilling at the Nou Camp.
Lionel Messi took the lead, but two goals from Ilkay Gundogan, as well as a sublime Kevin De Bruyne free-kick, gave City a famous victory and Pep Guardiola's first win over his former club.
City currently sit second in Group C on seven points, two behind Barcelona on nine, meaning victory over Borussia Monchengladbach next time out will see them qualify for the Round of 16.
As for Arsenal, Arsene Wenger's side qualified for the next round with a comeback victory over Ludogorets in Bulgaria.
The Gunners found themselves 2-0 down in the first half, only to win 3-2 with goals from Granit Xhaka, Olivier Giroud and a late winner from Mesut Ozil.

Benfica 1 Dynamo Kiev 0
Monchengladbach 1 Celtic 1
Manchester City 3 Barcelona 1

Barcelona, on the other hand, are without a number of key players as Pique, Alba and Iniesta all miss out through injury. Can City take advantage of that?
Who will win tonight's contest between Man City and Barcelona?
Elsewhere in Group C, Borussia Monchengladbach are up to their old tricks on Twitter again...
Just over 15 minutes to go until Messi, Neymar and co. take to the Etihad pitch. Will we see another Barcelona masterclass? They thumped City 4-0 two weeks ago, but Guardiola's side did have the chances to hurt their Spanish rivals.
But how will Caballero stand up to the most feared attack in world football? He comes in for Claudio Bravo, who was sent off in the reverse fixture.
Here we go then, Man City vs Barcelona II: Revenge of Pep? We'll see...
1 min: Barca have dominated possession from the offset. Pretty sure City only touched the ball once in the opening minute there. This could be a long night ahead.
5 mins: Still all Barcelona, but the visitors are struggling to find a way through City's compact defence.
7 mins: Digne gets away without a yellow card there for tugging down Sterling as the Englishman raced away. If it was any later in the half you would have expected him to go into the book there.
