Real Madrid legend Raul has been linked with a move to the USA to join New York Red Bulls at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old Spain forward has fallen down the pecking order in recent months and has admitted that he may have to consider leaving the Santiago Bernabeu, despite being under contract until the summer of 2011.

Following reports in the Spanish media of interest from Major League Soccer, Raul's agent, Gines Carvajal, commented: "Some clubs have asked about Raul, but that is a question that depends exclusively on the player and he is very happy in Madrid."

Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente hopes to force his way into Spain's squad for the world Cup finals this summer.

The 24-year-old accepts that he will have to play a back-up role to Fernando Torres and David Villa, but says that he would just love a chance to feature in South Africa.

He told EFE: "My dream is to play well for my club and make the Spain squad for the World Cup.

"This will not be easy, though, because there are a lot of good footballers in Spain. Villa and Torres are sure to make the cut, but I hope to be third on the list.

"In order to make sure I make the cut I must score goals for my club and convince coach Vicente Del Bosque I am worthy."
