Roy Keane has disagreed with Jose Mourinho, saying it is "nonsense" for Chelsea to be labelled as a great team.

"The hard work is to build a great team and we are a great team," Mourinho told ITV before the 1-1 draw with PSG last night. "We did the hard work, which is to build a great team, now is the unpredictability of football."

The former United captain Keane, in his role as pundit for the broadcasters, dismissed the Special One's claim.

"I think they have the potential to be a great team. He's clearly a great manager but they've got to back it up with some trophies.

"To say they're a great team at the moment is nonsense."

The Blues haven't won a trophy since 2013, when they won the Europa League.
