Europa League draw 2020: Manchester United, Wolves, Rangers and more learn quarter-final and semi-final fate
Everything you need to know about the remainder of the tournament
Manchester United will take on Copenhagen or Istanbul Basaksehir in the quarter-finals of the Europa League if they finish the job against LASK.
United won the first leg of their last-16 tie 5-0 before the coronavirus pandemic forced the rescheduling of the remainder of the tournament.
Elsewhere in the quarter-finals, Wolves will face Sevilla or Roma if Nuno Espirito Santo’s side can see off Olympiacos in their last-16 second leg. Wolves drew 1-1 at Olympiacos in the first leg and are on course to progress on away goals.
Rangers lost their round-of-16 first leg against Bayer Leverkusen 3-1, but if Steven Gerrard’s men can pull off a comeback they will meet Inter Milan or Getafe in the last eight.
The remaining quarter-final will be contested between the winners of Wolfsburg vs Shakhtar Donetsk and the victors from Eintracht Frankfurt vs Basel. Shakhtar lead Wolfsburg 2-1 after the first leg, while Frankfurt were beaten 3-0 at home by Basel.
The last-16 second-leg clashes have not yet received dates on which to be played, but the quarter-finals of the Europa League will take place 10-11 August behind closed doors before the semi-finals are held 16-17 August. The final follows on 21 August.
The quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be played as a straight knockout tournament across four cities in Germany: Cologne, Duisburg, Dusseldorf and Gelsenkirchen. All ties will be single-leg fixtures.
