Hello! Welcome to our live coverage of the EFL Cup quarter-final between Bristol City and Manchester United, with the added bonus of goal updates from the other tie tonight, Chelsea vs Bournemouth. They are all chasing a place alongside Manchester City and Arsenal in the hat for the semi-final draw, which will take place after the games tonight.

Bristol City's flat-cap enthusiast and general "character" Lee Johnson has vowed to treat Jose Mourinho to a bottle of £450 wine after the match. "It is being flown in especially from Portugal. We have done the due diligence and realised Jose likes this particular bottle that has to be poured by an expert." For Johnson's sake let's hope his team don't ruin Mourinho's designs on a record fifth League Cup title, or there is every chance that bottle will be going to waste.

Kick-off is at 8pm GMT – team news coming up!

Bristol City's Nathan Baker reckons it's important that his teammates don't show too much respect to tonight's opponents.

"You can't respect them too much or you'll be beaten before you get out there," Baker told Sky Sports a few moments ago.

"We're going to give it our all and hopefully we'll reach the next stage."

The headline team news from Ashton Gate is that Zlatan Ibrahimovic starts for Manchester United for the first time since April.

The 36-year-old Swede, who skippers the visitors tonight, was key as United won this trophy last season, scoring four goals in five appearances including two in a 3-2 victory over Southampton in the final.

Pre-match quotes from Jose Mourinho

On United's approach to tonight's match: "We are the holders. I'm not sure we are the favourites. They (Bristol City) have knocked out three Premier League teams and are in an amazing position in the Championship. They are going to fight for the result."

On the return of Paul Pogba to United's starting line-up: "It's important. We missed him, he's a very important player for us. An important injury and a suspension, we have been without him for too long."
