Jamie Carragher has jokingly taken a dig at Sky Sports colleague Thierry Henry, after the Arsenal legend referred to Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard by his nickname, Stevie G.

Taking to Twitter the former Liverpool centre-back, who played more than 700 games for the club, said: 'Thierry Henry calling Gerrard Stevie G! That was only for people at the club!!'

Thierry Henry, taking his place as a pundit at Sky Sports for just the second time, incurred the wrath of Carragher in the build up to tonight's Capital One Cup semi-final at Stamford Bridge.

The two teams were vying for a place in the Wembley final.
