Liverpool were unable to find a way past Championship Bolton and will now have to travel to the Macron Stadium to play a replay if they hope to advance in the FA Cup.
Adam Bogdan was undoubtedly the star man for Neil Lennon's team, making a number of impressive saves to keep the Reds from breaking the deadlock at Anfield.
Liverpool enjoyed 68 per cent possession and and had 24 shots but their forward line of Raheem Sterling, Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana were unable to find the net, despite huge pressure.
