Wolves stormed into the Sky Bet Championship automatic promotion places after a resounding 4-0 victory at struggling Burton.

In the day's final game, Norwich City compounded Reading's miserable start to the season as a Cameron Jerome goal secured a 2-1 victory after James Maddison's free-kick had cancelled out Liam Moore's headed opener for the Royals, although the Canaries did have Marley Watkins sent-off in injury-time for a rash tackle on Chris Gunter.
