Belgium had to come from behind at the Estádio Mineirão to win 2-1 against Algeria.

Sofiane Feghouli gave the north African side a shock lead after 25 minutes when he converted from the spot following a daft pull of the shirt by Jan Vertonghen.

Belgian were the better side throughout but it took two substitutes to turn it around.

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini brought things level with a clever header after 70 minutes - his first goal aside from for the national team since he left Everton.

Things were completely turned on their head in Belo Horizonte when Dries Mertens drove the ball into the back of the net with 10 minutes remaining.
