Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Premier League preview

Follow the latest updates live as Arsenal take on Crystal Palace looking to strengthen their place in the Premier League top four.

Arsenal head into the match off the back of their progression to the Europa League semi-finals and a first Premier League away win in two months following last Monday’s win over Watford. With Tottenham losing on Saturday and Manchester United trailing at Everton, Arsenal can seize the advantage in the race for Champions League football.

But Crystal Palace will be no pushovers in this London derby, with Roy Hodgson’s side still needing to mathematically secure their place in the Premier League, and with the Eagles still a point away from the 40-point mark they cannot be taken lightly by Unai Emery’s side. Follow the live updates below.

What time does it start?

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace kicks off at 4pm on Sunday 21 April.

Back underway in Wales as well. Can Liverpool keep their nerve?

GOAL! Arsenal 1-1 Crystal Palace (Ozil 47')

Another one of those finishes from Ozil. He hits the ball into the floor and past the keeper after a sublime reverse ball from Lacazette.

Just the response Emery would have wanted.

Liverpool beginning with a similar tempo as they did the first, and there has been some good positions taken up by the visitors as Salah unleashes a tame shot which Etheridge collects.

Alex Iwobi has added a certain fizz to the Arsenal attack and Arsenal have improved almost immediately.

Arsenal have reverted to a back four and it seems to have paid dividends so far.

Another Liverpool chance which Mane whips just over the bar after cutting inside.

Cardiff have no out ball though and the chances look like they will keep coming for the visitors.

56 min: Cardiff 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool have no need for such desperate measures yet, as Alexander Arnold strikes from distance but flashes it well wide.

GOAL! Cardiff 0-1 Liverpool (Wijnaldum 57')

And what a timely strike from the Dutchman.

The corner is whipped in and he unleashes an unstoppable strike inside the box at the near post past Etheridge.

Sheer jubilation for the visitors.

Nearly an equally good, if not better strike, from Kolasinac as Wijnaldum over in Cardiff.

The cross from the right is cleared and it falls to the Bosnian who has perfect technique but Guaita holds.
