Crystal Palace: 2019/20 Premier League season preview

Sheffield United claimed their first win since returning to the Premier League, beating Crystal Palace 1-0 thanks to a second-half goal by John Lundstram.

The midfielder finished from close range in the 47th minute after Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita could only tip away a Luke Freeman effort into the box.

United, back in the top flight for the first time in 12 years, drew 1-1 at Bournemouth on the opening weekend.

Palace have yet to score a goal this season, having started with a 0-0 home draw against Everton. Re-live the live action below.

Sheffield Utd 1 - 0 Crystal Palace

90+3 mins: Added time is getting out of hand these days. Surely it would be more accurate for the referee to just stop the clock for any stoppages like in Rugby League? VAR hasn't even played a big part in today's game.

Palace attack without creating any chances on goal. Sheffield United defend well.

Sheffield Utd 1 - 0 Crystal Palace

90+7 mins: They've done it! Sheffield United hold on to claim the three points. They've played really well today and deserve the victory, Lundstram in particular has put a shift in in mid-field and he's been rewarded with the winning goal.

What a return to the Premier League it's been for Sheffield United at Bramhall Lane!
