Liverpool face bottom-of-the-table Wolves today as Arne Slot’s team look to extend their winning run to four games in all competitions.

The Reds defeated Tottenham 2-1 on Saturday in a match overshadowed by the injury sustained to Alexander Isak, who fractured his leg in the process of scoring the opening goal after a challenge by Micky van de Ven described as “reckless” by Slot.

Wolves, however, slumped to a 2-0 home defeat to Brentford and have now lost their last 11 games in all competitions. They have just two points and are 16 points off safety.

Goals from Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz secured a 2-1 win for the Reds in this fixture last season.
