Diego Costa will make his return from injury for Chelsea against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed. The Spain striker has not played since returning from international duty earlier this month because of his long-standing hamstring problems, although the Spain doctor said this week that he only has a 'minor groin issue'.
The same cannot be said for Loic Remy.
The Frenchman, who signed for the Blues from QPR during the summer, injured his groin while scoring the opening goal against Maribor in the Champions League on 21 October. He is expected to be out for another three weeks.
In addition to Costa, the signs are good for Ramires. The Brazilian midfielder had a chance of featuring against Manchester United last weekend, and should be fit to return against QPR.
Spanish full-back Cesar Azpilicueta serves the second of his three-match ban for receiving a straight red card against Crystal Palace on 18 October.
