Adebayo Akinfenwa can claim to be the strongest player in FIFA 15 - but that doesn't mean the AFC Wimbledon player enjoys playing as himself.

The latest release in the EA series launches today and Akinfenwa will find that in terms of strength stats, he retains his title as the strongest player from last year.

Yet the striker was quoted at a launch event at a GAME store where he was 'guarding' the new game, revealing he found himself too slow.

"I may not be as pacey or skilful as Messi or David Silva on FIFA 15 but would you want them guarding your store?"

Akinfenwa might be the strongest player in the world according to the makers of FIFA 15, however his overall rating is a lowly 62. In comparison, the best strikers on the title are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo who are ranked 93 and 92 respectively.

The latest game in the series is expected to break sales records this week. To read a review of FIFA 15, click here.
