While Wolfsburg were picking up a 2-2 draw at Borussia Dortmund last night, their striker Nicklas Bendtner was picking up something else.

The former Arsenal striker, who has scored five goals in his last six matches for club and country, decided to let the world know last night that he would not be at the Westfalenstadion after being ruled out, and would instead be "picking up a cutie" from the airport.

Bendtner appears to be more prolific off the pitch than on it, despite his recent good run of form. In the past three seasons combined, has has scored only scored a total of five goals at club level.

The Dane made a total of 171 appearances and scored 47 goals after joining Arsenal from Copenhagen in 2005.
