Supporters can access a specially designed website to sign a pledge which is being circulated across Europe's top clubs ahead of the 31 October deadline for football to make its recommendations to the EC.

"As title sponsors of the Premiership we feel passionately about this issue and felt it was right for us to join forces with the governing bodies and make sure fans around the world can express their view," said a company spokesman.

The Wolves striker Sami Al-Jaber has been called up by Saudi Arabia for the Asian Cup in Lebanon. Al-Jaber is set to join up with the squad after next Monday's Worthington Cup match against Grimsby and could be away for a month if Saudi Arabia reach the final.
