January transfer window 2019: Premier League transfer round-up

Wolves continued their push towards European qualification as they heaped more woe on Marco Silva’s Everton, condemning the Toffees to their fourth defeat in six league games.

Ruben Neves put Wolves ahead with an early penalty before Andre Gomes equalised for Everton midway through the first half.

But after Raul Jimenez regained the lead for Wolves on the stroke of half time, Leander Dendoncker sealed the 3-1 win.

Chelsea ran riot against Huddersfield, surging to a 5-0 victory inspired by braces from Gonzalo Higuain and Eden Hazard.

Crystal Palace swatted aside Claudio Ranieri’s lacklustre Fulham 2-0 at Selhurst Park as Luka Milivojeic scored from the spot after 25 minutes before Jeffrey Schlupp calmed any nerthe victory with just three minues to play.

Brighton’s winless run continued as the Seagulls laboured to a 0-0 draw against Watford, while Ashley Barnes’ last-gasp penalty saved Burnley’s blushes at Turf Moor where it finished 1-1 against Southampton.
