Arsenal vs Manchester United LIVE: Granit Xhaka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fire Gunners up to fourth
Re-live the latest from the Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium
Re-live the latest updates as Arsenal defeated Manchester United 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in Sunday’s final Premier League clash.
United went into the match hot off the heels of Wednesday's incredible Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain, but were unable to maintain both that feel-good factor and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's unbeaten record as United manager in the Premier League.
Instead, it was Arsenal who took the game by the scruff of the neck and a bizarre goal opened up the scoring when Granit Xhaka's long-range effort caught out David De Gea, with the United goalkeeper completely mis-reading the shot and letting in without getting close to the ball. As United pressed for an equaliser, Romelu Lukaku was guilty of missing a number of chances, before Fred was judged to have fouled Alexandre Lacazette and a penalty was awarded to the hosts, which Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang calmly tucked away to secure the victory.

Prediction
Arsenal 0-1 Manchester United
37 min: Arsenal 1-0 Manchester United
Another nearly moment for United, as Lukaku goes through after fending off Monreal. He attempts to round Leno to replicate his PSG finish, but the German denies him at the second attempt before the Gunners clear.
38 min: Arsenal 1-0 Manchester United
Shock horror, it is another yellow card for Sokratis, his ninth in the Premier League this season, after a poor challenge on Pogba.
42 min: Arsenal 1-0 Manchester United
Real intent from United as we come towards the end of the first half, and they look more likely to do something before the first 45 minutes end.
Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw have linked up nicely down the left as well.
45 min: Arsenal 1-0 Manchester United
This is a wonderful move from United, and the only reason there is no equaliser is because of the excellent challenge from Xhaka.
Pogba sweeps it out beautifully to Lukaku, who plays in Dalot, who in turn looks to cut it back to Rashford.
That's where the Arsenal goalscorer comes in, diving in and winning the ball to set the hosts on the counter attack.
John Moss then stops play as both Rashford and Xhaka stay down, with the home supporters and players furious that their attack was brought to s halt.
What an intriguing half of football that was at the Emirates.
Arsenal certainly started the better and deservedly took the lead through Granit Xhaka, even tough David De Gea ought not to have been beaten so easily from that distance.
However, the visitors grew into the game and could quite comfortably had a couple of goals themselves, but a combination of Bernd Leno and the woodwork proved to be the Red Devils' nemesis.
United looked to be a threat every time they went forward, and Arsenal seemed to run out of steam a bit of front, so it will be a crucial 15 minutes for both managers now before what I'm sure will be another breathtaking 45 minutes in the race for the top four.
Jamie Carragher at half time in the Sky Sports studio said he "feels sorry" for David De Gea in reference to the Xhaka goal, while Gary Neville was unrelenting in his criticism of the Spaniard in commentary.
Either way, United as a whole, not just De Gea, need to improve if they are to avoid defeat here against their top four rivals.
