Arsenal vs Southampton team news: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain comes in for Olivier Giroud to face former side
The match kicks off at 7.45pm

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is fit to start Arsenal’s Premier League tie against Southampton after recovering from a knee injury to face his former club.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was a doubt heading into the game having been injured after coming off the bench in the win over West Brom at the weekend, but he has been deemed fit enough and replaces Olivier Giroud in the starting line-up. The Frenchman, who has only just returned from a broken leg, is named on the bench.
It is the only change that Arsene Wenger has made to his side, meaning that Nacho Monreal is fit to start at left-back, while another injury concern in Kieran Gibbs is named among the substitutes.
Southampton will hope to repeat the 2-1 victory they achieved at the Emirates in the Capital One Cup earlier this season, and they too have made one change to their starting line-up.
Morgan Schneiderlin was injured in the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday, so Jack Cork comes into the midfield. England right-back Nathanial Clyne, who scored a screamer to win the League Cup encounter, starts in defence, while the impressive Sadio Mane is named on the bench.
