After the chaos of goals and red cards during Saturday’s Premier League fixtures, there was letting up on Sunday as Liverpool were stunned by Bournemouth.

The Cherrys came from 3-1 down to snatch a 4-3 victory in injury time as Jurgen Klopp's side suffered their first Premier League defeat since August.

In the later kick off, Manchester United were left frustrated again by Everton, who held them to a 1-1 draw, leaving Jose Mourinho still looking for his second Premier League win since early November and their first away from home since the 1-0 win over Hull in August.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave United a first-half lead but former Evertonian Marouane Fellaini, who came on as a substitute, gave away a clumsy penalty which Leighton Baines gratefully converted in the 89th minute.

GOAL

EVERTON 0 - 1 MANCHESTER UNITED

Who else but Zlatan? It's an agonising finish, that gives United the advantage before the break. The ball gets played over the top, Stekelenburg charges out and Ibrahimovic simply pokes the ball over him. The ball hits the crossbar, then the post and then bounces over the line.

It's a terrible decision from the Dutch keeper. Nonetheless, it's another example of Ibrahimovic's striking prowess.

I fully agree Gary...

HALF TIME

The visitors enter the interval, due to a terrible goalkeeping decision from Stekelenburg, allowing his former Ayax colleague to poke the ball home and break the deadlock. Mind due, I do not think that Mourinho will be happy with his sides performance that half, so a few stern words in the dressing room can be expected. Everton showed glimpses of brilliance, but lacked any form of menace in the final third.

There were no half time changes, so perhaps tactically they have changed their approach going into this second half.

United slowly press up the field, with an attack led by Pogba. Gana hunts down possession and clears the danger.

Coleman relentlessly battles with Ibrahimovic and ends up on the floor, in what looks like agonising pain. It looks although the striker purposely kicks out at the defenders face. He's very lucky that the referee could not see that.

Mirallas breaks through the United defence and fires a strike at De Gea, but the Spanish keeper comes out on top and manages to parry it out for a corner kick. Fantastic save.

Everton appear to have had an injection of energy since the half time interval.

Mkhitaryan gets taken down right on the edge of the box by Cleverly. The Everton man escapes without a booking, but United have got a free kick in a dangerous position.

Everton slowly move up the pitch, but the United side are marking well and giving the opponents no time or space. They then steal the ball and charge out on the counter attack.

Mkhitaryan leads the attack and forces a save from Stekelenburg. Herrera then follows this up with a strike that rebounds off the woodwork.

Bolasie bombs down the right flank, but Martial sprints back and redeems possession. It looks like he's done some damage to the Everton man, who is now receiving treatment on the pitch.

It was a fair challenge from Martial, he was just simply stronger than his opponent.
