Arsenal want a penalty as Grant Xhaka goes down after Dale Stephens swings a leg in the area. Nothing was given but replays show that there was no contact and Xhaka, on another day, could have been given a second yellow card for diving.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gets behind the defence but Matthew Ryan recovers and clears. Jack Wilsher has the ball at his feet and Dale Stephens slides in with a wonderfully timed tackle but gets a yellow card. Awful decision.
Granit Xhaka hits the resulting free kick into the wall and Brighton eventually clear for a corner. The cross is deep to Shkodran Mustafi who heads towards the danger area and Matthew Ryan collects.
Brighton go to sleep and nearly concede a second. Ezequiel Schelotto slides in on Granit Xhaka and the referee plays an advantage. The ball is worked into the middle and Brighton scramble to clear.
Brighton are having to hang against Arsenal who have anther goal in their sights.

It's all kicking off now. Sead Kolasinac flies in on Ezequiel Schelotto and a free kick is given. A stretcher is on and temperatures flare between Jack Wilshere, Granit Xhaka and several other players.
After consideration the referee speaks to both captains and anyone who will listen, as Ezequiel Schelotto receives treatment from about six medical staff with concision suspected.
It seems the referee is taking no further action. That's pathetic and cowardly. If he's seen that he has to give Sead Kolasinac a second yellow card, at least.
