Arsenal manager Unai Emery says Mesut Ozil is training 'normally with the group'

Arsenal travel west to take on a Cardiff City side that are yet to score a goal in the Premier League this season, with all eyes on Unai Emery’s selection as he recalls Mesut Özil but leaves Lucas Torreira on the bench.

Özil missed last weekend’s victory over West Ham United that saw Arsenal record their first win of the season, having picked up yet another illness that ruled him out of the game. The German has trained all week though, convincing Emery to start with the attacking midfielder despite beating West Ham last weekend without him. That means Uruguay midfielder Torreira is yet to win his first start, having been used as a substitute so far this season.

Cardiff meanwhile are yet to win a game this season, and will hope to recover from the disappointing midweek defeat by Norwich City in the Carabao Cup in order to give their home fans something to cheer about.

3 mins: Really good atmosphere at the Cardiff City Stadium with the fans roaring every tackle and block so far.

Expect aerial bombardment into the Arsenal area whenever possible.

Host of players capable of scoring from headers in Manga, Bamba and Morrison.

7 mins: CHANCE!

Arsenal look defensively vulnerable once again and what a chance for Cardiff's first goal of the season.

Arter bearing down on goal but he can't keep his shot down. Bobby Reid was available for the lay-off, too.

9 mins: ARSENAL CHANCE!

The Gunners have their own positive moments from a well-worked corner.

Lacazette holds the ball up in the 6 yard box before laying it off to Ramsey who finds a bit of space in the box and unleashes a good first time effort which Etheridge pushes away into the path of Mustafi whose rebounded effort goes over.

Good game.

GOAL! CARDIFF 0-1 ARSENAL (MUSTAFI, 11)

Good work from Arsenal leads to a corner which Xhaka sends in with a great deal of bend and it meets the head of Mustafi who powers it beyond Etheridge.

Warnock will be horrified to concede a goal from a set-piece but it was a bullet header.

No need to panic just yet for the Bluebirds.

Moments before that, to win the corner, there was a spell of chaos in the Cardiff box as Bellerin took aim from the right edge of the area.

His cross-cum-shot was semi-cleared by the Cardiff defence and Etheridge but Morrison then failed to completely clear the danger and instead skewed the ball back towards his own goal before Etheridge was forced to clear.

14 mins: Horrible Cardiff defending could see them two nil down here.

A ball from Guendouzi is sent towards the left-hand side but Manga is there to clear....or is he?

His attempted clearance is completely sliced and Monreal finds himself in front of Etheridge but the Filipino keeper spreads himself well to save.

Cardiff need to re-settle.

You still feel like Cardiff are going to have chances today (mostly down to Arsenal's inadequacies).

18 mins: CARDIFF CHANCE!

Don't say I didn't tell you!

Bobby Reid has the beating of the Arsenal defence and he slides a tempting looking ball across the 6-yard-box which Danny Ward is inches away from reaching.

The ball comes to Junior Hoillett on the left-hand side though and he cuts onto his right foot and unleashes one which goes narrowly over the bar.

Good moments for Cardiff.

22 mins: Warnock in his pomp on the sidelines berating either the officials or his own players but either way his side is lucky to get away with not conceding a corner.
