Like his team Chelsea, it has been a season to forget for Cesc Fabregas.
Terribly out of form this season, Fabregas took one of the worst free-kicks in footbal history during Chelsea's goalless draw at Tottenham on Sunday.
Looking clueless, the Spain midfielder assessed his options, span around a few times, and then kicked the ball out of play, honestly (watch the video below ).
Fabregas then followed it up with this attempt at a quickly-taken free-kick:
The champions Chelsea are languishing in 14th place in the Premier League table, 14 points off the top of the table.
Despite the stalemate, Jose Mourinho said after the draw at White Hart Lane that it was Chelsea's "best performance of the season".

"It's the best Chelsea (performance) of the season as a team," Mourinho said. "We deserved a bit more than we've got. I'm really happy with the performance. The team defended like a team ... against a team that presses really well and aggressively."
