Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater joins Turkish side Kasimpasa on loan
Thirty-year-old will play in the Turkish Super Lig with the 15th-placed team until the end of the season

Danny Drinkwater has joined Turkish club Kasimpasa on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season, the Premier League club said on Monday.
Drinkwater has failed to earn a regular place in Chelsea’s first team since signing from Leicester in 2017 and has not stepped out for the Blues since the 2018 Community Shield.
The 30-year-old has spent loan spells at other Premier League sides such as Burnley and Aston Villa since joining Chelsea, with former manager Maurizio Sarri saying two years ago that the midfielder had no future at the club.

Drinkwater had also been charged with drink driving and was banned in 2019, while his Burnley debut was also delayed after he damaged his ankle ligaments in an altercation outside a nightclub.
Kasimpasa are 15th in the Turkish Super Lig, six points above the relegation zone.
