Christian Benteke yesterday became the second most expensive signing in the history of Liverpool Football Club.
But all anyone seemed to care about was his trousers.
The Belgium international arrived from Aston Villa in a £32.5m deal and once everything was finalised he was taken around the club's training ground for a few pictures.
Benteke was sporting jeans along with a Liverpool jersey bearing his name for the shots, but it was noted that not only was the 24-year-old casually dressed, he appeared to have come straight from doing some painting and decorating.
Specks and white and red paint were clearly visible on Benteke's trousers.

At least the white and red match the colours of his new team, but it still left some confused.
