Promising Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom has revealed that Alexis Sanchez has given him the highest of compliments, by nicknaming him "Titi" after the legendary Gunners forward Thierry Henry.

Akpom posted this picture of the pair at training today on his Instagram account, alongside the caption: "Training this morning with Lexis! He calls me "Titi" (Thierry) funny guy lool."

The rapid 19-year-old has been with Arsenal since the age of six, and has excelled in the Gunners' youth teams, scoring three goals in four Uefa Youth League ties last season, and also a hat-trick in the 6-1 FA Youth Cup fourth-round win over Peterborough United on 6 January.

Akpom announced in September that he had broken the club's 10m record with a time of 1.56sec.

He has made three appearances for the Gunners senior team, and last season went on loan to League One sides Brentford and Coventry City.

Henry, of course, recently ended his illustrious playing career at the age of 37. He is Arsenal's record scorer, with 228 goals.
