Maurizio Sarri on Kepa Arrizabalaga: he has 'served his time'

Chelsea were 2-1 winners at Craven Cottage in a game where all the goals came in the first half.

Gonzalo Higuain gave the visitors a 20th minute lead, which was cancelled out eight minutes later by Calum Chambers.

However, Jorginho’s 31st minute goal won it for the visitors – but there was late drama as Kepa Arrizabalaga saved an Aleksandar Mitrovic header, before Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon saw a late effort disallowed.

The win takes Maurizio Sarri’s side to within two points of the top four.

A win with their game in hand, against Brighton, will lift them above fourth placed Man United.

89 min : Everton 0-0 Liverpool

A minute of normal time to go and Everton are throwing everything they have at the visitors.

Is there a late twist here to decide this one?

Full Time: Everton 0-0 Liverpool

Could that be a significant result in the title race?

Well, what it definitely does mean is that Liverpool have won only two of their last six fixtures and have slipped a point behind Manchester City after their win at Bournemouth yesterday.

Jurgen Klopp remains undefeated, having managed the Reds in eight Merseyside derbies, but he will no doubt rue the chances squandered by Mo Salah in each half.

Everton had a couple of half chances but they emerge with a point, which they would feel they deserved at Anfield earlier in the season.
