Jamie Carragher has said Arsenal's obsession with selfies is "winding me up" and posted a selfie of himself to help get his point across.

A number of Gunners players took to social media following their 2-0 victory over Manchester City at the weekend. Aaron Ramsey posted an image of himself in the Etihad changing rooms along with team-mates Per Mertesacker, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud. Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez took a picture on the flight home with Mesut Ozil, Mathieu Flamini and the Ox again.

It continues a recent trend from Arsenal's players, who memorably angered Tottenham when Wojciech Szczesny took pictures on the pitch at White Hart Lane after a win over their north London rivals.

But Carragher has had enough.

"It's winding me up - it's an absolute joke," the pundit said on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football.

"It was one giant going to another giant. Of course celebrate, but it’s nonsense all of these team pics in dressing rooms - normally you have them with a cup! It’s nonsense and they need to stop doing it."

To make his point, Carragher posted a selfie of his own along with some of the Sky Sports team, including Gary Neville.

Arsenal could perhaps be forgiven for their giddiness after their victory on Sunday - it was the first time they had won at the home of the reigning champions since 2002.
