Jose Mourinho is expected to complete a new contract deal with Chelsea over the next few weeks.

The manager is reported to sign a new four-year contract worth £30million soon, with both sides pleased at the progress of negotiations so far.

According to the Daily Mail, there are no concerns on either side for the current negotiations, with the current happy relationship in stark contrast to the end of Mourinho's first spell.

Mourinho's deal will come as no surprise, after Chelsea won the Premier League title last season with the Portuguese being named manager of the year.

After leaving Chelsea in 2007, the 52-year-old manager moved to Inter Milan and achieved the double in his first year, winning the Supercoppa Italiana and then the league, Serie A.

The next year, he did one better, winning a treble that included the first Champions League trophy since 1965. He then signed with Real Madrid, achieving success until he moved back to Chelsea in 2013.
