While Nigel Pearson was embarking on his latest press conference rant as he questioned a journalist whether he was in fact "an ostrich", the Leicester City Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was making a quick getaway.

The Thai businessman, who is worth a reported £1billion, was spotted once again leaving the King Power Stadium by private helicopter, having has the aircraft land on the pitch during Sky Sports’ live TV broadcast.

With Chelsea’s unused substitutes going through a cool down on the pitch following the 3-1 victory over the Foxes, a tannoy announcement was made to tell the Blues to vacate the area immediately – or risk getting blown away by the incoming helicopter.

It said: "Will everybody clear the pitch - a helicopter is about to land.”

The CEO of King Power Duty Free then made his way out from the tunnel to the helicopter, before it took off and disappeared into the night sky.

Chelsea’s Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado was reported to be quite taken back by the arrival of the chopper, but it is not the first time Srivaddhanaprabha has departed the stadium via the aerial route.
