Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has recalled Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy and N’Golo Kante back to his starting line-up for the visit of Stoke City.

The Italian named an experimental side for the FA Cup third round reply defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.

The Foxes are second only to Arsenal in the Premier League table, on goal difference, and know they will go top with a win as the Gunners must wait until tomorrow to face Chelsea.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes, meanwhile, drops Bojan to the bench as Jonathan Walters leads the line for the Potters.

Ibrahim Afellay and Xherdan Shaqiri offer the guests with a sprinkle of attacking talent behind the Ireland forward.

The visitors are closing in on the top four and could go to within three points of Tottenham Hotspur with a victory in the East Midlands.

Today's line-ups...

Leicester City: Schmeichel; Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs; Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kanté, Albrighton; Okazaki, Vardy.

Subs: King, Gray, Ulloa, Dyer, Wasilewski, Schwarzer, Inler.

Stoke City: Butland; Johnson, Shawcross, Wollscheid, Pieters; Whelan, Afellay; Shaqiri, Joselu, Diouf; Walters.

Subs: Haugaard, Odemwingie, Wilson, Van Ginkel, Adam, Crouch, Bojan.
