Liverpool can break into the top four this weekend with victory over great rivals Manchester United.

After a dreadful start to the season following the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona, the Reds have been on an upward curve ever since they were beaten 3-0 by Sunday's opponents at Old Trafford in December. In the 13 Premier League matches that have followed, Brendan Rodgers' side have won 10 and drawn three. The target of the top four is now within reach.

Aside from the absentees, Rodgers has a few team selection calls to make with those that are available. Captain Steven Gerrard is available again after missing a run of seven games through injury. In Liverpool's most recent match, a 1-0 win over Swansea, he came off the bench. Will he go into the starting XI this weekend considering the fine form the team have shown without him?

Here, we take a look at the injury and suspensions...
