Liverpool vs Porto: Xherdan Shaqiri ruled out of Switzerland Euro 2020 qualifiers with injury
The Swiss forward could now miss games at a crucial part of the season for the Reds, including the upcoming Champions League quarter-final

Xherdan Shaqiri has been ruled out of Switzerland‘s Euro 2020 qualifiers against Georgia and Denmark due to a groin injury.
The Swiss forward will return to Liverpool for treatment but could now miss out a crucial phase of the Reds’ season.
Tottenham are next up at Anfield, with the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Porto at home on April 9 also a concern.
The Swiss FA made an announcement confirming the diagnosis.
“The attacking midfielder is suffering from a painful inflammation in the groin,” the Swiss FA announced on its website.
The 27-year-old missed training on Monday and was instead examined in a Zurich hospital.
Switzerland coach Vladimir Petkovic will name a replacement on Tuesday for their opening Euro qualifiers away to Georgia on Saturday and at home to Denmark three days later.
Jurgen Klopp will hope for a speedy recovery as the Reds aim for a famous double in the league and in Europe.

A hard-fought win at Fulham took them back to the top of the table, two points clear of Man City, who have a game in hand.
