Liverpool assistant coach Peter Krawietz tips Harvey Elliott for first-team success with Premier League champions
Seventeen-year-old Elliott has knowledge ‘bubbling out of his ears’
Jurgen Klopp’s assistant coach Peter Krawietz has tipped youngster Harvey Elliott for first-team success with Premier League champions Liverpool.
Elliott, 17, joined the Reds from Fulham in 2019 and has made eight appearances for the senior team this season – three in the FA Cup, three in the League Cup and two in the Premier League.
And Krawietz belives it is only a matter of time before Elliott gets more minutes alongside the likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane.
“We are very optimistic that we will be able to accompany his path successfully so that he will become a valuable member of the professional team in the foreseeable future,” Krawietz told Goal and SPOX.
“He has a great character and already offers a great soccer package.
“The football understanding bubbles out of his ears.”
Liverpool secured their first ever Premier League title this season and will lift the trophy at Anfield this evening as they take on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea.
Chelsea’s victory over Manchester City last month sealed the title for Liverpool.
