KICK-OFF: And they're off! On this most crucial of days in the Premier League season, Sunderland get the first match of the day going against league leaders. Last season, the Black Cats finished three points ahead of Leicester, the tables have been turned this season with a whopping 42 points separating the pair. The difference between them over the next 90 minutes will be so, so important to the fate of both sides come the campaign's end.

2 mins: The sunshine is not the only bright thing at the Stadium of Light, so is the start made by the visitors. With just over 60 seconds on the clock, Jamie Vardy sends a teasing cross into the Sunderland six-yard box that a defender only just manages to flick off the head of Shinji Okazaki. From the resulting corner, Okazaki did get his noggin on the ball, but only succeeded in powering wide of the near post. No nerves shown so far from the leaders.

4 mins: N'Golo Kante has caught the eye on many occasions this season, but clearly feels he needs to add 30-yard dipping volleys to his game. After winning the ball twice in quick succession, the diminutive midfielder takes aim with a bouncing ball from long range, but his efforts lands into the hands of Vito Mannone. More practice needed.
