62 mins: It's Andy Carroll time. The injury-plagued striker is on against his former club for the final half hour of this contest and has the chance to show his one time supporters that he is worth the £35 milli...nope, I couldn't type it with a straight face.
65 mins: Adam Lallana gives Mark Clattenburg a verbal volley after a decision goes against him. He would never have done that prior to his England career.
69 mins: Superb strike from Jordan Henderson, and an ever better save from Darren Randolph! The Liverpool captain was convinced he had curled brilliantly into the top right corner from 30 yards out, but that was reckoning without the West Ham goalkeeper. Leaping high to his left, the Republic of Ireland stopper got the fingertips of one hand to the ball in order to tip over. Wonderful football.
75 mins: Liverpool are increasing the pressure once again but the West Ham defence - led by Angelo Ogbonna - are holding firm. Speaking of firm, Andy Carroll's chest has just withstood a punch off the ball from Sadio Mane while together at a corner. From the next corner, Mane slaps a hand into the face of Aaron Cresswell. The latter misdemeanour earning him a yellow card.
80 mins: Into the final ten minutes, and this game remains in the balance. Liverpool are in total charge of possession, but possession doesn't always win football matches. While the home side huff and puff their way around the West Ham penalty area, there remains the danger of the visitors catching them out on the break.
83 mins: The forwards haven't had much luck recently so why not let right-back Nathaniel Clyne have a go. The England man duly obliges but his rasping drive from the edge of the box following neat build-up play soars into the crowd.
85 mins: More pressure, more posturing, Another shot, another block. The latest effort comes courtesy of James Milner whose drive is diverted behind by Ogbonna.
90 mins: West Ham are momentarily down to ten men as Andy Carroll is ordered off to receive treatment for an cut above his eye. There will be three minutes of stoppage time in his absence.
