After a nervous first half, Manchester City eventually finished off their second successive title in style to edge out Liverpool by a point.
Sergio Aguero only needed 83 seconds after Glenn Murray had put Brighton ahead to spark City into life.
Aymeric Laporte, Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan would follow, two points shy of last season, but with the mental strength to hold off a fine Reds side.
There have been many key moments to this title triumph, but none more important than Vincent Kompany’s stunner to deny Leicester at the Etihad on Monday: one of the most iconic moments in Premier League history.
An incredible pace from both sides, but City ended the campaign with a 14-game win streak, proving their class in the end.
