Aaron Ramsey will make his first appearance since scoring twice in Arsenal's 4-1 win over Galatasaray in December by starting in the Premier League match at Manchester City this afternoon.

The Welshman had been out since that game with a hamstring injury, which included an incredible 30-yard volley.

David Osipina keeps his place in goal, with Wojciech Szczesny on the bench.

For City, captain Vincent Kompany, returns from a hamstring injury.

Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernandinho, Fernando, Navas, Silva, Milner, Aguero.

Subs: Caballero, Mangala, Sagna, Kolarov, Lampard, Jovetic, Dzeko

Arsenal: Ospina, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Ramsey, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Alexis, Giroud

Subs: Szczesny, Gibbs, Chambers, Flamini, Rosicky, Ozil, Walcott
