It’s the final home game at the Etihad Stadium for a memorable – and utterly dominant – season for Manchester City, at it will culminate with Pep Guardiola getting his hands on the Premier League trophy for the first time.

City face Huddersfield Town, who still aren’t safe from the drop, looking to hit the 100 point mark, which they can only do by winning their remaining three games.

Huddersfield are nearly safe as Swansea and Southampton play each other next but could do without a heavy defeat given their inferior goal difference – it is the second worst in the division.

"Get well Sir Alex"

Pep Guardiola explains on Sky Sports Huddersfield's strengths and sends his regards to Sir Alex Ferguson, who was taken ill yesterday

"This is not a friendly game, we have a chance to improve," said the Manchester City manager.

"We have a lot of problems there, they were so tough. They have an excellent manager, his team is always committed with and without the ball. They defend well and use set pieces and counter attack.

"Get well Sir Alex. He's the most important person in a lot of years .He is an excellent person, I  was happy to have dinner with him two weeks ago. Hopefully he gets better as soon as possible."

"Enjoy yourself"

Huddersfield manager David Wagner reveals on Sky Sports what he's been telling his players in the build up to this afternoon's game.

"If there is one game for my players where they can play every season is to play against the Champions, so go out there and enjoy yourself.

"There is a small chance of course, not a big one, but we are searching for the small one."
