Manchester United vs West Ham team news: Marouane Fellaini starts for Red Devils in Wayne Rooney's absence
Red Devils captain Wayne Rooney is expected to miss the Champions League match against Wolfsburg as well
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has named Marouane Fellaini among his starting XI to face West Ham United at Old Trafford this afternoon.
With captain Wayne Rooney out with an injury descrbed as 'nasty' in mid-week, the Red Devils have turned to Anthony Martial and Fellaini to provide the goals needed to see off Slavan Bilic's men.
The visitors, meanwhile, start with Andy Carroll up front for the daunting trip to the theatre of dreams. Bilic also names Alex Song and Mark Noble in the centre of midfield while Adrian continues in goal for the Hammers.
Manchester United: De Gea, Darmian, McNair, Smalling, Blind, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Mata, Fellaini, Lingard, Martial.
Subs: Romero, Borthwick-Jackson, Varela, Carrick, Pereira, Young, Memphis.
