Carlos Tevez has been left to stew over the interview which has caused Manchester City such anger, with the striker still awaiting a first meeting with manager Roberto Mancini, four days after returning from Argentina.
Mancini is in Italy, capitalising on City's blank weekend. Tevez returned to England on Tuesday, intent on fighting for his team place, but the interview he gave before his departure from Buenos Aires, in which he said the club had treated him "like a dog" has proved to be a major setback. The manager's indifference to meeting him clearly reflects that.
