Marco Rojo has said that Manchester United have not given up hope of wining the Premier League title this season. A victory over West Ham today would see United move up to third place, and reduce the gap on leaders Chelsea to 10 points.

"I thought Chelsea were far ahead of us in the table, but everyone at United says we can catch them," the Argentinian, who signed from Sporting Lisbon for £16m over the summer, said.

"We will not give up hope. We'll first aim to overtake Manchester City, and it is a good challenge for us."

Rojo, 24, was also full of praise for United manager Louis van Gaal, saying he fills the team with confidence.

"Louis van Gaal is a coach who gives us a lot of confidence," he added. "You can tell he knows a lot about football.

"He always tries to advise us, and if he spots something about your game he'll tell you in private and show you videos about it."
