Mesut Ozil set a new Premier League record today.
Arsenal's playmaker assisted Kieran Gibbs' goal in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham today, meaning that he became the first player to make an assist in six consecutive Premier League matches.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was satisfied with the result despite failing to take full advantage of league leaders Manchester City's draw earlier in the day.
Wenger told Sky Sports: "It was a very intense game. In the second half we made a great mental response. We were determined not to lose.
"In the end I believe a 1-1 is a fair result.
"I must give credit to my players to refuse to lose the game."
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino also praised his side's efforts at the Emirates. He said: "I think that we played very well. At 1-0 up was the moment that we had the chance to score again.
