Brendan Rodgers and David Moyes are the joint favourites to replace Steve McClaren as the next Newcastle manager, if the bookies are to be believed.

McClaren was only appointed as the club's manager on 10 June, but with Newcastle now 19th in the Premier League with just 10 points from their first 14 games, including Saturday's 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Crystal Palace, the former England manager is now the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked.

Harry Redknapp is also believed to be in the frame for the job, but Moyes and Rodgers are well out in front as the bookies' favourites.
