Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill has seen no new players join his injured list ahead of tomorrow's Barclays Premier League clash against Aston Villa.

Defender Wes Brown, who is out with a long-term knee injury, has suffered a setback in his recovery which could see him ruled out for a few more weeks, and central defender Titus Bramble (hip flexor) still remains a doubt.

Sunderland lost 1-0 to Middlesbrough on Tuesday night in the Capital One Cup and O'Neill is likely to make several changes to his starting line-up, with goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, midfielder James McClean and winger Sebastian Larsson all set for possible returns.

Provisional squad: Mignolet, Westwood, Bardsley, O'Shea, Kilgallon, Cuellar, Rose, Egan, Cattermole, Gardner, Colback, McClean, Larsson, Sessegnon, Meyler, Saha, Fletcher, Campbell, Wickham, Ji.
