Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has made five changes to the team that drew 1-1 with Sunderland.

The Spanish manager has dropped Aleksandar Mitrovic despite the Serbian's goal against their biggest rivals in the Tyne-Wear derby.

Karl Darlow will play in goal after a season-ending injury to Rob Ellio, while Steven Taylor, Chieck Tiote and Vurnon Anita also return.

For home side Norwich City, Alex Neil has made three changes.

Defensive stalwart Sebastian Bassong is dropped against his former club, Ryan Bennett stars, with Andre Wisdom coming in for Russell Martin.

Steven Naismith comes in for Patrick Bamford.
