Owen Coyle bullish over Bolton prospects ahead of Manchester City trip

Bolton boss Owen Coyle was in defiant mood as he prepared his struggling side for tomorrow's trip to face Barclays Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Coyle's men were beaten 3-0 by Chelsea last time out but the Scot is adamant they have what it takes to bounce back and pull off one of the shocks of the season at the Etihad Stadium.

"Who is to say we can't go to Manchester City and get a result?" he said. "We have to trust ourselves, believe in what we are doing, and we will look to get something from the game.

"We know we are capable of giving big performances and winning big games. That is how we have to treat every game now. As much as we are still in the FA Cup, every league game now is like a cup final."

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez expects to have Victor Moses back from making his international debut for Nigeria in midweek when his side face Swansea at the JJB Stadium.

Martinez said: "Every game is a must-win game at home. If you look at the amount of points we have at home this season it is nowhere near the level we have produced in our performances. We need those points to catch up."

Blackburn's owners could face another backlash from angry fans following the midweek sale of defender Chris Samba to Anzhi Makhachkala as Rovers prepare to host Aston Villa at Ewood Park.

Villa boss Alex McLeish is without Darren Bent, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season, but Gabriel Agbonlahor is expected to be fit after nursing hamstring and back problems in recent weeks.

QPR will be aiming to end a run of three straight league defeats which has seen them plunge to the brink of the drop zone ahead of their meeting with David Moyes' Everton at Loftus Road.

Free-scoring West Brom - who have hit nine goals in their last two games - will look to pile more misery on Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas at The Hawthorns, while Stoke meet Norwich at the Britannia Stadium.
