Papiss Cisse wants to remain at Newcastle for “many years” and is eyeing Champions League qualification next season.
The 27-year-old has been a revelation since joining from Freiburg in the January transfer window, netting 13 goals in 14 top-flight appearances.
Cisse has been linked with a quick exit from St James' Park as a result of his fine form, but the Senegal international insists he has no intention of leaving Alan Pardew's side.
"I am very happy in Newcastle and I want to stay there for many years," he told Sky Sports.
"We were close to a Champions League position so next season hopefully we will qualify for that and everyone will taste the Champions League. I am looking forward to next season."
